At HRS Invictus, we bear a strong sports mentality. Most individuals believe that sports only require a physical effort. This is wrong; sport needs just as much of a mental effort as it does physically. All these athletes that do greatly have to focus and prepare themselves for the game. This requires immense concentration and a certain flair to be able to pull off the strategies they keep in vision. Our CEO at HRS Invictus believes in a strong work ethic. He has a sports mentality that helped him from a very young age and still stays active now. “As a kid, I was committed to swimming and martial arts, as well as football and rugby. But around the age of 13, injuries came around and stopped sports for a bit. At age 16, I went back into sports, but due to that injury, no one ever plays the same way. The main focus from this is that obstacles should never stop one from pursuing their passion. Take that attitude and use it to your advantage,” says Nikesh Patel, managing director of HRS Invictus.
“The work ethic and mentality that sports have given me, I utilise to this very day. Sports like swimming and martial arts aren’t about instant rewards, they take focus, practice and repetition to gain long-term gratification, these sports take physical and psychological conditioning to push boundaries,” says Nikesh Patel of HRS Invictus. This has given our CEO the work ethic that he reinforces in the training he provides the agents at HRS Invictus, he especially promotes long-term gratification. It is so important to carry a strong mindset. We get lucky sometimes because even though negative obstacles happen, they prepare us for something far more significant.
Being able to be in the world of sports and come across injuries reminds us of this; Either you can do nothing, or you can take what you have and challenge yourself. We hear of sports injuries all the time, and it takes a long time to recover and maintain the mindset of a winner. At HRS Invictus, we believe in that type of mentality. The mentality of a warrior and fighter. We know that our sports mentality and background gives us an edge in business. Our industry needs something like this to thrive, and we strive on providing it just that.
