In the next few weeks, Nikesh Patel of Leeds based HRS Invictus will be moving to London. After having built a strong marketing and customer acquisition presence in Leeds with clientele throughout the UK, this energetic CEO has set his sights on London.
“While I will be personally moving to London with my company, we will still have offices in Leeds. Of course, I’ll travel back and forth,” he says, “but I’ll also need an office from which to work in the capital.” His excitement over the move is apparent in the way he is already seeking affordable office space and is even talking of bringing team leaders along to recruit and train a new team or two.
What Nikesh Patel is learning is that there are various areas of London that cater more to industries like HRS Invictus. While the City section is most notable for the financial sector, areas like trendy Shoreditch on the outer edges of the City is more in line with startups and industries such as technology, media, and software. He muses that this might be the part of London where he’ll begin looking for office, which will be a huge part of his life in his new location.
One of the reasons why Nikesh Patel is excited about the relocation is that he will be in an international hub of activity. As one of the world’s leading financial centers, traveling business professionals are going to be plentiful and this offers the perfect opportunity to network on a large scale than at home in Leeds. When seeking to expand HRS Invictus’ horizons, what better place than an international hub of businesses within all industries?
“Imagine being able to capture a larger portion of the market in the South of England,” he says. “While it is only a little over a three-hour drive down the M1 from Leeds to London, having a team on site will make a world of difference.” Growing his company is big on his list of projects for the coming year and in London, Nikesh Patel and HRS Invictus will be in a position to expect major growth.
“Moves are always a bit frightening,” he agrees, “but this move is something I’ve been looking forward to for a while now and I am ready to get out and about doing what I do best.” That would be seeking new clients and recruiting top talent he is known for spotting from a mile away. “This is going to be a positive change for me, personally, but it will bring new life into HRS Invictus as well.” Here’s wishing Nikesh Patel all the best in his new locale.
